Elegant Holiday Tabletop – Pearls & Roses!

Pearls and flower centerpieces are a glamorous and elegant addition to any table setting. Here are a few suggestions to create an elegant and festive tabletop. You will need:

• Gold-trimmed organza table runners, for extra sparkle try to find one with gold beaded trim.
• Low round clear glass flower vases; 3- 4 depending on the length of your table.
• Red roses. Let’s Pave’ the roses for this arrangement. It adds a bit of drama and I like the tailored style for this setting. Clean all stems so that they are free of greens and foliage; keep them low and in the shape of a dome with the center flowers slightly taller than the outer flowers.
• Bags of loose roses to sprinkle across your dining table. You can contact your local florist in advance to order these. They are more than happy to accommodate you .
• Loose medium-sized faux pearls. Use to fill  glass vases on table.
• Red and white pearled-ball ornaments.
• Branches of holly berries
• Gold-glittered, long stemmed branches with crystals
• Clear glass votives, with candles. Lots of them!

Use a white or ivory dinner plate for simplicity and allow your decorations to speak for themselves.

This table setting can be tweaked a bit for Valentines as all the basic elements are there…. but we will get to that later!
