Spring is in the air!
March 24, 2014Perfect for your spring tabletop centerpiece.
These mini flower arrangements in “eggshell vases” are perfect for a low centerpiece for all of your spring get-togethers!
To begin, you will need the following materials:
- 1 dozen extra large eggs (extra included for those “oops” moments)
- Egg cups (for a nice cluster – 6 minimum)
- Scotch tape
- Very small pieces of cut up oasis (soaked minimum 2 hrs prior to use)
Instructions
Remove the tip of the egg by using a knife or spoon to remove only the top of the egg, by tapping lightly. Place pre-cut, soaked pieces of oasis, into the opening of the egg. Tape the back of one side of the egg to the egg holder to secure from tipping. Lay out your trimmed (to the appropriate length) flowers and begin to create your beautiful, petite arrangement. These are now ready to use in clusters or as a long, centerpiece. For an added touch, I have used them as place cards by putting the guests’ name on the eggcup.
You will love these Mini, Spring Flower Arrangements in “Eggshell Vases”
Enjoy!
